Own Boat / Individual Tuition

We are able to offer all of our practical courses or any individual customised tuition on your own boat, at any location in this country and abroad.  Some owners prefer this and we will be pleased to discuss courses and fees.  All our instructors have experience of many different types of vessels and will teach any aspect of boat handling and navigation that you wish. 

Individual one to one tuition can be given for all our theory courses should you be inclined towards this way of learning.

We are able to come along on your own boat and assist you on a passage - either locally or to stay away for any length of time that you wish.

Craft used for longer journeys are prepared with the necessary safety equipment and approved by us before undertaking the journey.  We would be pleased to advise you on the equipment required.  It may be necessary to carry out a short test run to ensure that craft and equipment are satisfactory.

All craft must be seaworthy, mechanically sound and covered by adequate insurance.

 

Boat Charter and Corporate Entertainment

For the person who wants something a little different we can offer a skippered boat charter service for private and corporate events. 

Setting sail from Pwllheli on a luxurious Beneteau Antares flybridge motor yacht, with its superb facilities, you are invited to explore the picturesque coastline of the Llyn Peninsula.  The vessel is highly equipped to commercial safety standards. 

This "fun time" in Cardigan Bay could be as a day out for you and your family/friends, as corporate entertainment with champagne lunch or as a treat or surprise for a special occasion.

Skippered Charter is available from as little as 1-2 hours to a whole day where lunch and drinks are provided. 

If you are thinking of buying a boat, why not use our charter service to experience motor cruising before you make a purchase?

During the day you can relax and enjoy the scenery whilst we cruise the coastline, anchoring in a secluded bay for lunch.  You are able to drive the vessel and even go for a swim!  We can tailor the cruise to take in destinations of your choice (tides permitting) and you may be lucky enough to see a variety of wildlife such as seals, dolphins and various sea birds.

Boat Delivery and Skipper Services

Our Skipper services are available for boat delivery up to 24 metres in this country and abroad.  All our skippers are fully insured and hold commercial licences which are subject to the standards laid down by the Department of Transport Marine Safety and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.

The vessel must be seaworthy, have necessary safety equipment and adequate insurance.
