RYA Powerboat Level 1: Welcome

POWERBOAT LEVEL 1 & RIBZ 4 KIDZ JUNIOR COURSE IN NORTH WALES

This one day certificated course has been designed as an interactive fun day for children from 8 to 12 years. Most of the day is spent on the water teaching safety and boat handling a R.I.B. At the end of the day the exhausted children go home with a mine of information and a nautical 'goody' bag!

During the two days you will learn the following skills:

Launch & Recovery (children aged 8 to 11 will observe)
Boat Handling
Preparation of boat & crew
Leaving & coming alongside
Picking up & securing to a mooring buoy
Leaving & coming alongside
Being towed
